Is it me or is 2009 the year for new hair in Hollywood? After Rihanna cut her short bob even shorter and Kanye grew the beehive mullet on top of his head, there’s been an outbreak of outrageous celebrity hair makeovers; one of which has potential to be cool..and well..the others..has me thanking God my hair looks the total opposite. Take a look at some of the hair nightmares that have been occuring this year:

Cassie. I do LOVE Cassie…but this cut INSPIRED the title of this post lol. I, along with the rest of America, don’t know WTH she was thinking when she did this to her beautiful head of hair. Cassie first revealed her cut on her Twitter page saying she was trying to physically tell the world that she just didn’t give a fu&k. Don’t get me wrong, I’m an advocate for not giving a fu&k..but she could’ve just bought a keychain that represented that. Honestly.

Rihanna. Ms.Fenty was dubbed the number one trendsetter when she rebelled and chopped off major inches of her hair (numerous times) and dyed it black. This was considered a rebel move simply because in the entertainment industry it’s basically required that a female singer have long strawberry blonde hair. In other words, look like Beyonce. Luckily our girl Rihanna wasn’t for the conforming thing. Being the edgy chick she is, she made drastic changes to her hair that ultimately caused EVERYONE to chop chunks of their hair off and dye it black. However, this hairstyle she’s wearing these days has got me scratching my head in confusion. What is that exactly? Personally I was in love with the cut she had in the “before” pic..she OWNED that cut lol. I hope she goes back to it…but knowing Rihanna, who’s constantly changing her style, she’s probably considering that cut OLD news.

Christina Milian. Now this is the hairstyle I said had potential. NO, I’m not saying that because I have a Girl Crush on Christina lol..I’m being serious. This isn’t the first time that she has went blonde. However, this is the blondest she’s EVER been. When I first seen her dye-job I was taken aback. I almost got whiplash from the triple takes I was doing LOL. Milian going peroxide blonde caused so much controversy that her boyfriend “The Dream” (yeah ok..) had to step in and get on the heads of the people that talked about her. Yes, what The Dream did was kind-hearted, but it’s looking like Christina could careless if he had defended her or not though, the rude comments havent phased her. Her & her blonde hair have been going strong. She’s actually starting to really make it work. I’m almost for it.

I thought long and hard before I posted this. I didn’t want people to feel as if I were attacking these ladies. Truthfully I was just poking fun LOL. Besides..let’s be honest with ourselves here..they’ve all seen better hair days. In Cassie’s case, her whole right side has seen better days lol. I’ve even realized that this is the kind of post that would NEVER be approved by Mr. “WHY WON’T YOU LET THEM BE GREAT?!” AKA Kanye West LOL.
